IIRC there was talk about removing support for the Python image library, PIL &| PILLOW. I am hoping someone from the Kodi team can clarify the future of this module.

Erk! Don't remove that! It's handy (& needed for OzWeather!). Or is there an obvious alternative now?

The Advanced Launchers heavily depend on PIL. Please don't remove it!!!
