A warning or me doing something dumb?
Kodi user for many years (Linux, Raspberry PI). The past year I've been running Kodi on my Sony XE9005 and upgraded Kodi to v18 and Android on the TV on 30th January.
I use the Sony Video player but notice that "Play Using" now offers: "Sony Video Player" by default and Kodi's internal player but also an additional option of "KD-55XE9005".
If I select this option it calls the Sony Player BUT TURNS THE TV VOLUME FULL ON AT 100 (see why I'm shouting, normal volume is 10-20!). I don't know how to get rid of this option.
In my playercorefactory.xml l added a <player> called KD-55XE9005 with audio=false and video=false. This didn't work, Kodi auto-generated a play-using option of "KD-55XE90051". So I removed that <player> but added a rule filetypes="loud" for player "KD-XE9005" (hoping never to match) but still got the KD-55XE9005 option presented for "play using".
It would be nice to rid myself of the LOUD player option, any tips?
