Hi - when I run TMM on my WIN10 HTPC using 65" Sony TV as display, the resolution makes TMM unreadably small. Can I change the startup resolution via the .ini file? Or other means?

I think you got a 4k TV with that size - to increase the readability you could do try the following things:
a) use a java version higher than 8 (11 would be ideal)
b) add the string
-Dsun.java2d.uiScale=2
to a file calles extra.txt in the tmm folder and restart tmm
c) maybe increase the font size
