Hi,
I was using Kodi from the play store on my Nvidia Shiled TV but the skin I'm using isn't compatable with Leila so I had to uninstall Kodi and install from the apk from the Kodi website: kodi-17.6-Krypton-arm64-v8a.apk

Everything works but there is now a 4-5 second black screen between opening the app and the kodi splash screen showing. It's not necessarily a big issue but it does make me wonder whats happening. Has anyone else come across this before or found a fix? There wasn't any delay/black screen when it was installed from the play store.

In truth, only a debug log (wiki) posted to https://paste.kodi.tv will improve your chances of getting to the bottom of this.
Anything else would be guessing and not very helpful.

It turns out I had my refresh rate set too high  
It's working perfectly well now
