I am using LibreElec on my Raspberry Pi 4 with the Aeon MQ 8 Skin.
I have used Kodi before on a Windows machine with Aeon MQ 7. And MQ 7 had a nice feature to enable extra movie info, like IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes and other extra info, but I can't find it in MQ 8. Does MQ8 have this feature also? So yes, where can I find it?
And I have a problem if I want to show the four thumbnail view. The thumbs wound generate.

There are high chances that you were using Aeon MQ 7 Mod. The features you are asking for are available in the Mods of these skins by @latts9923. Check the mod for Aeon MQ 8 here.

Once you have the mod installed, you can switch between "basic info" and "detailed info" in the Video Info Screen to enable or disable these features.

Yes, but the ratings are not shown in the library views, as in Aura and arctic zephyr 2. Just in the info of the movie. They make use of an addon called skin helper, in order to show the ratings everywhere, libraries included (along with the IMDB, RT etc. icons). This would be in my view the best new feature for MQ8, which is better than these skins in every other way!
Are multiple widgets per menu item supported in MQ8? Also I can't find a way to add a custom widget from an addon, let's say "video addon xx - popular movies" etc in the movies menu item. Is this feature supported? All I can do is add the default widgets from the drop-down list.

Anyone about the widgets? I think what I ask for is not supported. The closest I have reached is to set up a menu item for each video add-on and use its individual widgets as sub-menus. But the number of menu items is limited and this way is not particularly attractive. Any suggestions for multiple widgets per menu item? The fast-change drop-down only has the default widgets, no custom ones and also no video nodes section.

Just make video nodes (settings/skin settings/customise main menu/select empty many item and click on replace this menu with, choose video nodes, navigate to comedy movies) as menu item, rename and new widget video nodes will be available in flexible widget menu (Press up in main menu)

Yes, but only one widget can be shown per menu item. Or choose between three with the fast-change option. Isn't that correct? How can we use stationery multi-widgets per menu item?

In Aeon Mq7 is possible to remove Cinemavision button from menu. Try in Mq 8. Find IncludesWidgets.xml in xml directory of skin and navigate to "<!-- CinemaVision -->" block of code and delete. First backup your IncludesWidgets.xml file.

I can't for the life of me find out, why when starting the playback of the movie and during pause the tagline is shown twice, as in the attached photo...

Personally I am fond of this Skin Aeon MQ 8 and it continues to be my favorite.
I ask if this skin continues to be developed with future updates.

Marcos release a few days ago the new Skin Ace 2, in a few days he's begin work in Aeon MQ9.

Probably a few fixes to MQ8 will came too.

Hi @Wanilton Came across something I haven't seen for a while. When playing Music and using Lyrics be it animated or normal and I find they are not automatically scrolling. Is there an upgrade to the lyrics or a setting I should be looking for. Running latest version of MQ8 and Kodi 18.4 stable

That can happen if the lyrics are downloaded as a simple text file instead of the *.lrc file. Check which one is being used.

Call up the context menu and select different lyrics

@Karellen Many thanks will check that out soon. Well seems i don't have the option to choose different lyrics from the context menu, just delete. When I look at the Lyrics addon itself it tells me all sources are selected.

I have installed all the extra icon resources (colored studio, mpaa, audiochannel etc.) and chosen them from the skin's settings. Everything works just fine, the colored icons load up (albeit with a little delay). But I consistently get the following errors in Kodi log multiple times:
