I'm having issues with AC3 / EAC3 almost never working properly. The sound is completely off (way too much bass, speech difficult to hear, etc.). This problem has been going on for a long time and not been able to resolve, including the latest version of LibreElec. 

Setup is a NUC (NUC5CPYH - latest firmware) connected with HDMI to a Samsung HW-k850. DTS, Atmos streams etc. all work fine except all most all AC3 / EAC3 streams.

Channels: 3F2M/LFE
Sample rate: 48000 Hz
Bits per sample: 32

Working properly:
Codec: A52 Audio (aka AC3) (a52 )
Channels: 3F2M/LFE
Sample rate: 48000 Hz
Bits per sample: 32
