Android Kodi can't access Usb drive after Oreo update

Philips released the updated firmware that fixes this issue. I installed it and it worked. This update is for the following models:

That's the reason why I warned people here... but as everyone after the Oreo update would be looking for solution for the issue, I wanted to share a new hint.
I don't see much deep into Android TV as if there is a way to confirm update's origin such as signature by developer or not so I hoped that someone here could look into it and in case report if it is a fake or not

I have the same problem on my TV TCL 50DP660. It´s about month after update of android and KODI. External drive with FAT32 works well, but doesn´t work with NTFS Sad

Any news on this subject? I Don't know what the problem really is but I know that the external disk on NTFS is recognized by the media Player of the TV and works with it, so is Android the problem or the programs that do not manage this?
Kodi shows the disk, but it is not able to access its contents.
