Also, if the seek bar is not shown, would you still want to see a label that shows you the speed at which you are fast forwarding? (2X, 4X, etc.)? Please let me know.  Thanks.

Exact Bart, not important where i'm, just to hide de bar while watching the movie. i prefer no info on the screen.

Thx
H.
@Input1963 , could you please try the latest from GitHub (Matrix only)? The changes are already there.  The new setting is here:

And as you requested, no info will be on the screen when you are forwarding or rewinding when this setting is enabled.  Please note that if the OSD is displayed (you pressed M or Menu while playing a video), the seekbar will be shown, and I do not want to change that behavior.  Also, if you press i (Info) while playing a video, the seekbar will be shown as well, and I do not plan on changing that behavior either.

Please let me know if this is what you were looking for.  Thanks.

As for the All Seasons issue, it just slipped my mind, thanks for reminding me!  I will look into it pretty soon.

Regards,

Bart

@tcclives23 , my apologies for not answering this post sooner.  I have removed the code that was forcing the tv show poster and the fanart for *All Seasons.  Now, if you have  season-all-poster and  season-all-fanart images, which Kodi picks up without skin intervention, they will be shown properly in Amber.  If you do not, then for poster Amber will show the tv show poster, and for fanart, the tv show fanart.

The changes are already on GitHub.

Please let me know if this is what you were looking for.  Thanks.

Bart
DAMN! That was quick! Haha is that both Matrix and Leia? Dumb Xbox still has Leia.
Perfect! Thanks Bart! I'll take a look at it tonight after work!

Everything looks good on my end Bart! link you provided fixed my error as well! Thanks so much!

As for the show submenu only when focused, please try version 3.2.132 (it is already on the Amber repo).  I just verified, and the option is there:

Thank you @bsoriano.

I just updated Amber to version 3.1.132.
The option "Show submenu only when focused" is now displayed in Amber's settings.
But whether I choose "Yes" or "No", nothing changes, the result is the same. The submenus are always displayed as before.
Can you explain the principle of this option to me again ? From what I understood, activating this option allows submenus to be displayed only when focused, is that right ?

I realize some of you might have preferred to keep the buttons.  I apologize in advance, but I will not be making this an option.
It's good, the Goto function works as before from the OSD with the Info button.

@Cyberdom , thanks for testing.  You are correct about the show submenu only when focused.  There was a file change missing in the Leia repo Amber version.  I just fixed that, please test.  Version 3.2.133 has the fix.

I will not be able to translate right away "Play Random", since that comes from the addon script.playrandomvideos.  I will use an Amber string instead of the addon string in a future version, so I can translate it.

As for the skin playlist titles, I will not be translating those.  The provided playlists have internally their titles in English.  You could go to the skin's "extras/playlists" folder, and open each .xsp file with an editor and change the internal title of the playlist.

Please remember that you can choose whatever label you want for the menu item/submenu item/shelf, so even if the dialog to choose shows you an English title, you can set a label in French.

Regards,

Bart

Thanks for the method with the .xsp files. I have indeed modified the labels to put text in French.

@bsoriano - I just tried the search feature while browsing my albums and noticed for example, if I search for "Streets of Fire", it find it, but when I click on a track it does not play. Not sure if this is a bug or not.

@shedrock, for the track to play you need to have the addon script.playalbum installed and enabled. That's the way I found to play from the info dialog of an album.

The addon is in the Kodi repo.

@shedrock, it's in the Kodi repo. If you click the Play button from the album dialog info that you get when you search, Amber should ask you to install it.

That's just it. It doesn't ask me anything. I managed to find version 4.0.2. I will install it and check, but Amber definitely does not prompt me to install that addon.

Today I updated from amber skin (leia) 3.2.126 to 3.2.133 and it looks that the “Hide seek bar when paused” is no longer working. I tried also version 3.2.128 and also there is does also not work. The setting in the menu “full screen/osd” —> “Hide seek bar when paused” is set to “yes” and on version3.2.126 it was still working. So please some help to get this solved.

Best regards,

@Stormlord777 , thank you for reporting this.  It seems there is a weird Kodi Leia behavior that is causing this since I have added some features.  I have uploaded version 3.2.134, which fixes the issue, to the Amber for Leia repo.  Please update, test, and let me know if it is indeed fixed.  Thanks.
