I just uploaded versions 3.4.18 (Matrix) and 3.2.137 (Leia) to GitHub and the Amber repos.

Here are the French translations for the new option to choose a default menu item when starting Kodi.
1. Enable choosing default menu item : Activer le choix de l'élément de menu par défaut
2. Make default menu item : Définir l'élément de menu par défaut
3. Current default menu item :
Élément de menu par défaut actuel :
I did Amber update 3.2.137 last night. I tried the option to choose a default menu item when starting Kodi but it doesn't work.
If I choose a default menu item, for example TV Shows, on startup, Kodi does not display the chosen item by default.
I saw that it was necessary to activate Embuary Helper. It's done and I'm using version 1.5.0 from the Kodi repository.
Could this be a problem with this version of Embuary Helper ?
Another problem since this Amber update. I am using Tvheadend to watch TV with Kodi. When I watch a TV program, I can press the OK button to display the OSD with the title and description of the current program as well as the play buttons.
At this level, no change, everything is displayed correctly.
On the other hand, would it be possible not to display the gray position circle at the top left in the seek bar ?
I can also press the Info button to display the OSD with the title and description of the program.
With Amber version 3.2.137, when I press the Info button, the OSD is displayed with the correct title of the current program but not with the correct description. The description of the following program is displayed.
Can you correct this display problem ?
I made a test in Estuary and with the same program and the same manipulation (pressing the Info key), the title and description displayed are indeed those of the current program.

I was able to replicate the issue now. I have fixed it in version 3.2.136, which I just uploaded to the Amber repo. Please update, test, and let me know if it is indeed fixed. Thanks.Thank you @bsoriano.

While performing these tests, I noticed a small display problem with the flags at the bottom of the results.
When looking for a director for example, the flags are displayed correctly at the bottom of the window :
On the other hand, when looking for a genre or a country for example, the flags are slightly cut off at the bottom of the window :
Would it be possible to raise these flags slightly so that they are no longer cut ?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
In regards to the issues that you mention:
1. Choosing a default menu item works for me in Leia as well as Matrix, I tested in both. Yes, as I mentioned in my post, you do need script.embuary.helper (I also have 1.5.0 in Leia) installed and enabled in your system for this to work, you need to enable the new setting to be able to choose a default menu item, and then you need to go into the menu configuration and press the "Make Default Menu Item" button. You should see the label on the top right that says "Current Default Menu Item: " and the label of the menu item you chose as default. After that, go back to the main menu, and, whenever you quit Kodi and restart, the menu should be positioned on the item you chose as default.
2. The seek slider should not have been there for PVR when the OSD is shown, I will remove it.
3. I will fix the plot shown for PVR, the current programme plot should be shown if available.
4. I will fix the flags issue, it had slipped my mind, so thanks for reminding me.
I will push a new version to the Amber repo for Leia today.

Bart
