The Nano is hooked up to a freaking cell phone charger and it works... :-)
As long as you don't have peripherals connected - it should be fine.

One last thing, do you have any clue regarding hdmi-cec? Couldn't get it to work from the Nano.
It's the last missing piece of a terrific media center.

You'll need to install dependency for CEC.

Code:

# apt install libcec-dev

And re-run CMake followed by build after that. Make sure, you see it have been found in CMake output.

You can also give it a try to my new docker container. It contains everything pre-compiled from the last commit and includes libcec. Here is more details on Docker

I did compile with libcec-dev ( saw it when I ran cmake - it recognized the library ). However didn't see the CEC option in SYSTEM-SETTINGS peripherals section.
Maybe it's a hardware thing? Not sure if Jetson's HDMI supports it.
I'll check your docker package.

Thanks.

Hey,

I'm getting a permission denied error trying to access the docker:

Got permission denied while trying to connect to the Docker daemon socket at unix:///var/run/docker.sock: Post http://%2Fvar%2Frun%2Fdocker.sock/v1.39/...tag=latest: dial unix /var/run/docker.sock: connect: permission denied

I have to check with a code, and get back to you on this.

Also please enable libCEC logging in System Settings -> Logging -> Component Specific Logging so we can see what is going on. Unfortunately my TV is very old and doesn't support CEC to give it a shot.

Yeah, logs are not very much helpful. It seems like some issue with L4T Kernel and libCEC. Some more details regarding this on NVIDIA forum.
Looks like, hardware supports it, so technically with some patchwork it is possible to bring it back to life. Yet it might be a quick fix.
