EPG data is no longer transferring
#1
I'm not getting an error message, the channels are all there, but the EPG data isn't there. I checked the PC where I'm running it, there is current EPG data in WMC itself....but when I go to ServerWMC I see that the channels are transferring but not the EPG - I have rebooted the host pc and the client androidtv box - and even tried resetting my HdHomerun Prime....I'm not sure what else to do...

Make sure the time and date are correct on the kodi client.  If they are, then post the serverwmc log (debug tab) after a serverwmc and kodi are started.

They were - I ended up fixing it late last night by completely uninstalling the Kodi addon, wiping Kodi's cache, rebooting my shield, and re-installing the addon. Then it started working again.

Also, as an aside, while researching this I found the thread about the channel logos, and just wanted to point out that mychannellogos is freeware now.  I was manually adding my logos because I didn't know any other way, so I was pleasantly surprised, it automated most of the process (I still have a few that need logos manually and a few that need updated logos because channellogos has older ones)

Glad you fixed it, and thanks for the heads up on MCL I didn't know that.

So, now it's trasnferring, but the artwork for the shows is all messed up. For instance, last night, on TBS, the movie "Click" was playing - but the EPG showed a poster for a movie called "Cimmaron" - there are a few channels that are correct (local channels/network TV) but all of my cable channels are showing the wrong artwork... do you have any idea what I can do to fix it?

This is most likely due to your epg provider rather then kodi/swmc.  To test if that's the case, look to see if the same errors occur in wmc.

I had these kinds of issues too when MS switched to movi (or whatever it is called) for guide data.  I fixed it by using epg123 to get guide date from sch-direct.

I decided to try out EPG123 and I'm having trouble. WMC is showing EPG data that I downloaded from schedulesdirect, but for some reason it isn't transferring over to Kodi. I load up Kodi, it pulls over data (serverwmc is reporting that it transferred EPG data) but then when I go in, it says "no data" in kodi's epg.

Weird.  Try resetting the kodi epg database.

I got it working finally, it was transferring 9999 channels over for some reason.

to fix it, I uninstalled the front end from Kodi - wiped the cache (Shield TV) and rebooted. On the server side, I rebooted and then went into EPG123 and reassigned the channels again, manually (a lot of work) and then finally loaded serverwmc. It transferred over all of the details.

Yeah, that sounds like a pain.  Glad you got it working though.
