Advice on Windows-based Raspberry Pi alternative.
#1
Hello.

Although my Raspberry Pi 3 has been really good in my living room, I need to swap it out for another device that runs Windows, for a few reasons:

Firstly, in addition to watching Live TV and Recordings via Kodi, my family have increasingly started to watch stuff on Netlix and Amazon and, occasionally, Sky Go.

There is a lot of jumping between the Pi, Smart TV and a Windows laptop and I want to have everything on a single system.

Secondly, having services like Netlix on a non-Pi gives us the opportunity to download films in advance, rather than streaming them - something that is quite important to us, given our rubbish internet speeds.

Thirdly, we need to an internet browser for occasional use.

Anyway, what do you guys suggest?

Ideally, I want something that it is small, silent and does not use too much electricity.

I was thinking about a Beelink S1 - what do you think?
