How can TMM automatically rename the file names of movies and series (when updating the data sources or before)?
#2
that is not the workflow of tmm

a) update data sources (aka import your movies/tv shows into tmm)
b) scrape them (download meta data from the net)
c) rename them according to the meta data

rename before b) or even before a) simply makes no sense

You have to start c) separately? TMM can not do it automatically after b)?

Can TMM rename all of the files (also txt files, pngs, jpgs, idx, etc.) in the folder the movie is and the folder containing the movie?
#4
- there is an option to let tmm rename after scraping

yes, tmm will rename all associated files for your movies (nfo files, artwork files, subtitles) -> .txt will not be renamed

Great, where is it? And this option causes TMM to automatically rename after scraping?

So finally TMM can rename the movie files and the other ones and automatically create the folder for the each movie. So there is no need to rename the files with another program.

Manuel,

First of all, thank you for an awesome app!

Secondly, I'm having inconsistencies with the "renamer"; some movies will get "of", "for", "the", "a" etc, changed to lowercase on one computer. On my other computer, those same movies get "of", "for", "the", "a" etc, changed to uppercase. I want "of", "for", "the", "a" etc, changed to lowercase all the time, unless a movie starts with one of those. I've tried everything to copy settings from one computer to another to avoid this from happening, but I have no luck. Can you please instruct me on how to remedy this? THANK YOU!

EDIT: I just noticed that when I use: "${movie.title;upper}", or "${movie.title;lower}", the folder titles change as expected, but when I use "${movie.title;title}", the title doesn't change certain words, like "of", "for", "the", "a". For example, the "for" in the movie, "Thanks for Sharing", stays lowercase. Also, these "renderers" don't rename the movie file name, as they do the movie folder. Any insight would be great. Thanks in advance.

this looks to be an "issue" in the lib which does converting to title case. as per documentation this _should_ change it the _right_ way (see https://www.grammar-monster.com/lessons/...e_case.htm) - but I've just tested the exactly same way and here it is changing anything but the first letter of "Thanks" to lower case (which is also wrong);
I'll have a look to this for the next version

The new update crashes the app when attempting to add a new data source (clicking the "+" button). I verified that it behaves the same on two different machines. This makes the app completely unusable now.
