BINGIE / Hide Settings menu
#1
Hello,

Using the BINGIE layout, I'd like to hide the "settings" menu on the home page.

Maybe this action might depend on the "Customize power menu" setting ?

Why would you want to hide the settings menu shortcut? You may need to access settings at some point. This seems like a strange request.

Because I created my own system menu, it includes a submenu for direct access to various settings.
So, I want to use mine.
"Customize power menu" is unused.

I also would like this, I switched to Coreelec and the "Exit" button has no effect.

Please test:
Replace content of IncludesHomeBingie.xml with the content here:
https://paste.kodi.tv/avejegolif.kodi

This should use the settings/quit/etc from the powermenu which will also allow to customize/disable it.
Not sure if I want to push it to next update, so please give ur feedback on this change.

I'm testing this now it works good so far just remember to add the necessary power and settings buttons to power menu before enable hide option.

I guess I was meaning that when people disable power and settings menu they need a key/button to bring up power menu like the option inform in the setting.
The xml works very well and gives a cleaner home menu, thank you cartman
