Thank you but thats android only right? Im on libreelec so i dont think it's an option for me, so I will wait for the fix which is hopefully coming. Good suggestion nonetheless!

CoreELEC have pushed this fix in the latest nightly and it works, might be worth checking to see if it's also in the latest LibreELEC nightly if you don't want to wait.

Thanks mate, how does the fix work on coreelec? Does it require the advancedsettings entry or not? Just interested to know whilst I'm trying to find out if anything has been done on the libreelec nightly...

I had a look on the LibreELEC forums and couldn't see that they'd done anything with it. On CoreELEC for me it just worked without the advancedsettings.xml entry, they do mention it but I found it worked without.

My provider told me this "We discontinued m3u access two days ago. You must use an app that supports Xtream Codes or use a script"  No plans to support apps like Plex, Emby, or Kodi.  WTF!!! And worse.. If you do not monitor their IRC channel, you were caught off guard.

Hi team,

I am playing a .m3u8 file and it works fine on Chrome with the plugin HLS Player. I'm trying to use it on IPTV Simple, the channels load but KODI does not load the channel.

As you can see I tried to append the |User-Agent=VLC thing on the file, but it still doesn't work.

Any hints are really appreciated!

Try uninstall kodi , use Filza , search in /root “ kodi “ , select all than delete , reinstall Kodi . Problem solved for me .
