v19 LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 19.0)
(2019-08-03, 16:29)jfcarroll Wrote: Okay,

While using the URL you provided to test with has probably caused drain bammage, I have a fix. PR will be up shortly.

However, it's unrelated to the issue of showing folder names for the shoutcast plugin directories.

Jim
Thanks @jfcarroll, I'll include your fix in tonight's build. Yes the missing folders are due to something else - I don't think the add-on is Kodi 19 compatible.

Thanks, excellent post! I can reproduce on a Skylake NUC with #0705 thru #0801. Although for some reason you don't have any stacktracres in your crash log - this is #0801 with a stacktrace: http://ix.io/1Qn3 (resuming your video from about the 20 minute point).

The obvious change in #0705 is PR16314. I'll add a comment pointing the developers towards your post.
@millhouse Build #805 looks to have fixed the .ts resume issue for me.  Your time has been much appreciated!

HDR won't be supported until kernel 5.3, and there may also need to be additional Kodi tweaking for HDR once the kernel is ready. At least your box is a Gemini Lake so should be getting HDR support - users with older generation CPUs may not be so lucky.

I did extensive further reading, indicating that chipset will be HDMI 1.4 only or 1.4a - somethiung like that, seems Intel gimped the whole thing.
It seems prudent to just wait for the SkyHawk (not Skylake) processor that is replacing Gemini Lake, ensuring we get full HDMI 2.0 (HDMI 2.1?) with 4k / HDR etc
Reply
Gemini Lake has native HDMI 2.0 and Gemimi Lake-specific HDR patches are already in kernel 5.3.

#0805 does correct the RTSP (streaming video) issue I was encountering.
