thx for instructions, I already run nightly from an usb3 stick since some days.

esp. trying to catch a bug with debugging set to on.
I sometimes see "lagging" of the (mostly) moving part of an picture watching TV.
increasing the lowest freq. of the GPU in LE 9.2.1 helps somewhat.
currently running with 800, I should try 1050, too.
with nightly I use the defaults: 300

Investigating ...

on 0323 cant get to work RestartAPP comand (via remote command) and systemctl restart kodi (via ssh)

Restartapp freeze Kodi gui

systemctl doesn't work

reboot command works correctly


reinstalled 0322 no problem

will try again with 0323

Edit: tried again....i confirm the bug with 0323

Yes, the kodi shutdown process was a little broken by PR:17456 - this should be fixed tonight in #0324, it would be great if you can confirm!

Note that the shutdown process hasn't been ideal for some time (since the switch to Python3, I think) as we are experiencing a problem with dbus in the LibreELEC Settings add-on, which is hanging on shutdown resulting in delayed/slow shutdown. Only seems to affect x86_64.

@TheRealDeadMan thanks! How are things with Ryzen 3400G, everything working OK? I think you had some menu performance problems that seemed to be related to GPU issues - is that OK now with 5.5.y and/or 5.6-rc?

I confirm that with 0324 all works perfectly

Also shutdown/reboot is faster
