Shut down question:

When shutting down LibreELEC on an Intel HTPC, which command is preferred?

POWERDOWN() or QUIT()

I'm not entirely surely if QUIT() has any effect in LibreELEC - it might be ignored, as there's nothing to "quit to"...

In addition to powering off the device you can also - if your hardware supports it - suspend/hibernate.

Basically, you should be able to automate whatever options you see in the GUI Power menu.
