I'm not entirely surely if QUIT() has any effect in LibreELEC - it might be ignored, as there's nothing to "quit to"...

In addition to powering off the device you can also - if your hardware supports it - suspend/hibernate.

Basically, you should be able to automate whatever options you see in the GUI Power menu.

Just a quick FYI that the latest build is running nicely on 3 of my HTPC's, (HP300-230, NUC7i5, NUC8i5). My use case is pretty simple, just playing blu ray rips and the occasional mysterious premium streaming service file found on my doorstep, all fed from my NAS over Powerline Ethernet. All I need now are a few Kodi repo add-ons to become Python 3 compliant.
Thanks for all the work you do.

Edit: The NUC7i5 is running the latest Kodi19A1 Windows nightly under Win10, but it's working well also. Win-win, so to speak...

I really hope someone got an idea...

Since yesterday (or today) many things are broken in my kodi #0626 milhouse build installation.

I spent hours to try to resolve the problems by myself, but I'm out of options for now. I restored a dd-backup which I made a few days ago and which ran perfectly, but thats also not working anymore.

Many functions are not working and running into timeout.

A few thinks are working as expected.

Whats not working anmyore:

- Netflix (doesnt even start)
- Twitch Livestreams
- Searching for an Update via libreelec updater (only when I try to a twitch livestream or netflix before)

What works:

- Twitch VoD (Past broadcasts for example)

Hi Milhouse,

I think the ffmpeg-4.3-Matrix-Alpha1 might have the missing fix that @phunkyfish added on top. I have strange skipping issues with everything locking up since this build, only for recorded TV.

I can see below there is a kodi version of ffmpeg and libreelec also has a version. I am not close to how this is packaged but a quick scan looks like the libreelec version might have missed this additional update.

Did you really have to quote the entire release text of the Milhouse build?
I know it's the lazy thing to do, but I think you can understand why that was pretty unnecessary.

If you still don't know, this forum has some nifty quoting technology:
Select only the text you actually want to quote with your mouse (or finger), and a "Reply" option will appear at the bottom left of that post.
Clicking that option will copy/paste the selected text into the textbox reply section... It's as easy as can be.

That way, no one will be getting medical issues from having to scroll endlessly to the next useful post.

Kodi on Linux can do HDR->SDR tonemapping since 2018, at least.

How? On my QNAP 453D I've installed Kodi 18.5 and new 19 Alpha. HDR -> SDR conversion doesn't work, colors are washed out or to bright. I need to use VLC player to watch a 4k HDR movie on SDR TV. Is there an option I should trigger or something? I've tried everything... Thanks in advance.

Quick question regarding deinterlacing.
Some VAAPI-options are not availabe (which are available on the stable build) on the @Milhouse builds.

The following options are available but the video output is laggy on a NUC6CAYS:
Inaktiv
Bob
Deinterlace

The following options are not available on the latest nightly builds:
VAAPI - Bob
VAAPI - Motion adaptiv
VAAPI - Motion kompensiert

Can anyone clarify why this options are missing? Is this intended?
