I have googled this issue and everything I'm seeing seems to indicate that I just need to be running the latest version of everything, and I am, but the problem persists.

Ok I've done that, I'll check back later tonight after I have some things record and see if the issue persists.

That fixed it, recordings are showing up immediately now.
