cant install widevice cdm for playback to watch Netflix/amazon
#1
I cant run plugins like Amazon, Netflix or Sky Go. It's possible, that i can browse threw movies and series in netflix or amazon (using kodinerds repo), but if i click on any movie, i'll get "error, look into your log file".
Here is my log file (debug): https://paste.kodi.tv/junitojosa.kodi

I also have installed inputstream.adaptive. EVerytime i click on a movie i'll get a window "This addon relies [...] decryption module WIDEVICE CDM for playback". I'll click "ok", accept the terms, and still no succedd.

On a side note: You're running kodi for X11 on wayland. This breaks hardware video decoding. Either install kodi for wayland or run X

oh, i see. I really dont want to uninstall my kodi (cause of the settings i did, i see a lot of problems if i uninstall this and start at step 0 with kodi for wayland), so whatg do you mean with "run x"?

Well ok, i installed kodi-wayland and decided to clear all the old datas. kodi-wayland is installed, also kodinerds repo for amazon and netflix plugin und with the netlfix plugin i'll get the inputstream-adaptive. With inputstream-adaptive the ".kodi/cdm/libwidevinecdm.so" is installed automaticly.

Still, i can login in netflix and amazon and can browse the content. I click on a movie and a popup appears
"Videoplayer Inputstream Addons: InputSTream
Could not load addon, unknown error"

Oh and the decrypter path of my inputstream is "special://home/cdm" but this should be ".kodi/cdm/libwidevinecdm.so", right? Sorry for multiple posts, but i cant find an edit button in this forum.

You have 32 bit inputstream addon installed.
Whatever you did totally messed up your installation.

I installed kodinerds repo, which installs automaticly the inputstream adaptive if you start i.e. netflix plugin.
Whatever, if i look into the github repo peak3d/inputstream.adaptive, or the installation over kodinerds or in the AUR https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/kodi-...-adaptive/ i can't see if this is 32bit or 64bit, so i never ensured that. This should solve the problem, but where can i gat the 64bit version?

That looks very wrong to me.
For linux the distros should package binary addons and offer them as a separate binary package.
I can't seem to find inputstream.adaptive in arch packages, ask your distro maintainers or look in AUR.

AUR packages are built from source code, so they will match the bitness of the os.

Ubuntu user explaining arch user about AUR ... o tempora o mores ...
