I'm sorry, I searched the forum, but haven't found a solution to my requirement. I'm running Kodi on Linux box that is all-in-one HTPC. it is also home NAS, so it's essential it stays always on. the thing is that my girlfriend turn it always off as it was default action with previous STB. what I need is some custom script that I would assign to RC power button and it would toggle display signal on/off and on default turn on it would start live tv stream? basically something that would immitate turning off the STB so my girlfriend is happy and HTPC stays on.
