Titan Vanilla for Kodi 18 and 20

What is Vanilla? 

Collins Dictionary says: 

If you describe a person or thing as vanilla, you mean that they are ordinary, with no special or extra features.

That's what this mod is about: Just an adaption of the well-known 'Titan for Krypton'-Skin without any new fancy features or killer features of the last generation. Or in case you are a Liverpool fan: The normal one. 

I love the simple and elegant design of the original Titan skin and personally I don't need more features than the ones that already existed so far in Kodi Krypton. Moreover, I have neither time nor the necessary knowledge to extend the skin. So please don't expect new views, new widgets etc. 

Installation for Kodi 18 - Leia

1. Install last version of Marcel Veldts Repository (Kodi -> Addons -> click "install from zip"): 
   https://github.com/kodi-community-addons...-1.0.1.zip
   
2. Install repository of Titan Vanilla: 
   https://github.com/malvinas2/repository....-1.0.0.zip
   
3. Choose in add-ons, Install from repository -> Titan Vanilla repository -> Look and Feel -> Skin -> Install 'Titan Vanilla'.
   

Installation for Kodi 19 - Matrix
         There is no version available for Kodi 19.

Installation for Kodi 20 - Nexus

1. Install repository of Titan Vanilla: 
   https://github.com/malvinas2/repository....-1.1.0.zip
   
2. Choose in add-ons, Install from repository -> Titan Vanilla repository -> Look and Feel -> Skin -> Install 'Titan Vanilla'.
   

Remarks

• a menu entry for a search function similar to the one used in Estuary can be defined by 'ActivateWindow(1107)'
  
• game section should be working
  
• I haven't tried to import a backup of old settings and do not recommend this. 
  
• Version Kodi 20-Nexus: Support for the 'Classic Theme (aka Mediaportal)' has been dropped as well as the 'Low Performance Mode'. 
  Quite probably in future versions the slim osd and small context menu will be removed, too.

A very basic question I know but , I cant get any icons to show alongside main menu items. I set the thumbnail ion skin settings  either default or custom , but they don't show on home screen ? , am using " simple confluence style " vertical menu ?

Had to put a bit of code in  "includes HomeVertical.xml"

Does your skin have simple confluence horizontal as an option?

I'm using Bingie which has it but like you have no need for the advanced features available in this skin. I'm also having an issue with the Skin Helper Service version that Bingie needs to work properly. What version does yours uses?

Question. I have set the vertical style and used the option detach widgets to see them all at once.

I remember in the past with Titan, I could auto hide the vertical menu and see only the widgets but I cannot find that option anymore. Where is it?

I want to see only all the widgets and only when hitting LEFT to see the menu.

I keep on improving the mod, e.g. the nub and slider problem should be solved and I did some slight code modifications. As I am currently on vacation till the end of July, work will be paused until August.
Regarding vertical style and simple confluence horizontal style: If it worked on Titan krypton, it should still do here.

@malvinas2 Thank you for your great work! I´m very happy to be able to use this fantastic skin with Kodi 18 now.

I found some minor issues, maybe you are able and willing to fix them...

Win 10 & AndroidTV:
On playback start the OSD Panel slides in for a second and then slides out and in again before it fades out after the konfigurated amount of seconds.
So it looks like a kind of flickering...

AndroidTV only:
It´s not possible to import a new color scheme
The backup function (create a backup) of the skin does not work

I am not using Kodi on Android and have no possibility to test this. 
Maybe this is the same error as mentioned in https://github.com/kodi-community-addons.../issues/10  ?
