What the title said
its just kodi on a steam link plugged into a tv and a wireless Logitech keyboard which controls it
(too lazy to get a picture but there isnt much, and my camera is very bad :/)
Anyways i just decided to make this thread to just talk about how I got it to work my experience.
(and there isnt alot of threads on this)
Why?
I picked up a steam link for 10 bucks w shipping when steam discontinued it and sold them for dirt cheap (full price 60 bucks :0)
I just followed the instruction here to get Kodi https://github.com/garbear/kodi-steamlink/releases
But I only had a keyboard and no controllers (cuz im a pc gamer)
so I couldn't get Kodi Leia because keyboard and mouse hadn't been mapped yet and had to use an older ver of Kodi that had keyboard and mouse mapped out
It works fine with the youtube add on but took like 20 seconds to load a vid (and I'm not patient lol

But trying to sign into youtube keep looping until it somehow worked :thonk:
Anyways did run into much issues other than vids took some time to load and youtube was kinda sluggish
but with only 512 mb of ram, I'm not surprised
The only issue I have rn is I can't change the resolution in Kodi's setting cuz its greyed out :/
if anyone knows why, pls reply
