How to get subtitles working on Kodi - Amazon Firestick
#1
Hi
I've an account with subtitles.org which I have downloaded and activated via kodi repository.
I have then logged in using username / password
I have then gone to settings / player / language and set up the following
Downoad Services
Subtitles - English
Subtitles storage location - next to video
default tv - subtitles.org
default movie - subtitles.org

Then when i go to any movie or tv show and try to load any subtitles nothing is showing - I don't receive any option for subtitles to be able to use any
Please can anyone help me figure out how to get subtitles to work for the Amazon Firestick
I am using Kodi 18.2 Leia Build

Thank you in advance for your help and advice

Where are the videos you're trying to subtitle actually stored?

Does Kodi have write-access to that location?

If you are within the USA you will need a VPN using a foreign country in order to be able to download subtitle!

@Sard

Don't forget we have a VPN policy (wiki) on this forum.

Sorry, I missed that one...Shall we remove my comment?

That won't be necessary, you won't be put on trial by us.
Just keep Kodi's forum rules (wiki) in mind (which you agreed to anyway), and things will be good.
