Win Windows Issue Blank screen for 4K mkv video in Leia 18.2 but audio and subtitle works
#1
Hi there, I have a couple of kodi instances (windows and fire tv). when I try to play a 4K file the video is not displayed as I only see a blank screen but audio works ok. I can also see subtitles if its there. any idea whats going on and how to fix it? I tried at least 3 4K files and same result. here is the mediainfo for the file and the kodi debugging log. any help is appreciated, thanks.

Your log shows no crashing. I see you start playback of Hellboy and 30 seconds later you stopped playback. Then you exited Kodi.

There is no problem in your log.

Ok. sorry. I confused your post with another.

I see plenty of errors, but I am not familiar with this error as I have not seen it before.
xml:
ERROR: ffmpeg[53C8]: [swscaler] bad src image pointers

Maybe @afedchin or @fritsch might know what the issue is. A quick search on Google reveals an ffmpeg bug.
