Information PseudoTV Live Beta Blog, Support & Discussion
I'm still getting the issue with 'No Information Available' for a lot of my pre-defined channels.
The channels build ok when Kodi starts and when I get to these channels on the guide, I will see maybe 1-2 items with  'No Information Available', but if I loop back round on the guide and scroll down to these channels again I lose even more info. I'm also getting the same issue with navigation to the right/left locking up and unable to move other then up/down.

The fact nobody else has reported this an issue and that my PseudoTv Live xmltv file contains metadata, makes me believe the problem is more likely with my own set-up/hardware. A little frustrating, particularly as things were working well, prior to testing the imported m3u file on Saturday.

I've tried clearing all traces of my channels quite a number of times and rebuilding them to see if I can clear whatever is causing the glitch, but every time I have full channel data on the EPG screen and think the problem is finally resolved, it seems to resurface shortly afterwards. I tried installing the latest Matrix version today to see if that make any difference, but sadly not.
Will continue to try and problem solve at my end.

I wish I could help... if the meta is in the xmltv file; the work is handed over to IPTV simple... Your setup seems complex from what I've seen from your thread activity.... you have a lot of custom stuff going on.

Yeah, I'm having to rely on my old Windows 7 machine currently, which has a lot of old files 2 years+ on it. Microsoft managed to break my NUC in March when they installed 1909 onto it and broke something with the display drivers. I now get frequent Blue Screen Errors, no wifi, no disk management and network issues. Only solution is to use the Basic Display driver, but then I can't install Kodi....Boo! Even Intel have no answers for the problem and they've sent 2 replacement machines and the problem still occurs the moment the display drivers are installed by Windows. Still, at least they acknowledge there is an issue, which is more than can be said of MS.
Hoping to get a new machine pretty soon. In the meantime, I'll try to continue to contribute with the testing as best I can.
Cheers

PseudoTV Live updated to v.0.1.1i... please test the new "radio" type by selecting some Music Genres under settings.

With the introduction of the "radio" type, I'm looking for a good set of transparent Music genre logos... Sets in color and mono (white) would be appreciated!

PTVL is throwing an error for me with Rev. i. I am now testing on an Nvidia Shield.

For whatever reason, trying to get the latest released revision using The "PseudoTV Repository" takes a while. Rev i is still shown to me. Have noticed this in the past as well that the latest takes a bit of time to be shown when updating.

FYI if you experience any issues after installing the last few updates, try deleting your m3u,xmltv files using the utility menu. THX

Trying with rev j, it's not showing up any channels on tv guide and the radio show the "Heavy Metal" genre I've selected but does not play anything when select. Tried deleting the m3u,xmltv files using the utility menu but didn't work.

Maybe I did something wrong.

Looks like Heavy Metal is coming back as an empty genre... Give another genre a try while I look into improving genre matching.

As for your other channels log doesn't indicate an issue... Still not working?

There's something going on with TV Channels. Just tried deleting the iptvsimple and pseutotv addondata folders and epgdb to fresh start. Then selected only the TV Channels (no music genre). The result is the same (nothing shows up at the TV Guide) and I noticed the xmltv and m3u files only heave the "header" without any other content inside then.

Here are the logs: https://paste.kodi.tv/eperajojuk.kodi

Then I kept the TV channels from the previous test and selected only one music channel with for the "Hard Rock" genre (I downloaded a small mp3 library just for this test and only have those 2 genres for now). Same result as before. No TV Channels EPG and the Radio guide shows the Hard Rock channel but it does nothing when I try to play or "switch" to it.

Logs of this second test: https://paste.kodi.tv/fowikehito.kodi
xmltv of the second test: https://paste.kodi.tv/wucuxoxuho.kodi
m3u of the second test: https://paste.kodi.tv/bitakaveyi.kodi

It looks like your Kodi library query's are coming back empty... Has your setup/ shares changed recently?

Do you currently have content on/available to Kodi?

I'll check on my end, however not much has changed in that regard.

Woohoo! Smile
Whatever changes you made with subversion 'j' when you've added support for the Music Genres, has also totally cleared the issue I was experiencing with my pre-defined Movie and Tv Show channels. Been running the guide all morning and everything back to how it should be.
I don't have any music installed on this machine, but will try get some to test the music genres with.

Odd, lol... Really didn't change much in that department... and never experienced what you had on my end.

Glad it's working... enjoy!
