Hi I am using version 1.4.90 x 86
I had a problem where some TV episodes of 24 that would not get scanned into the library. In debug it pointed out
"we have no episode guide. Check your tvshow.nfo and make sure the <episodeguide> tag is in place." So I ticked the Episode URL box in settings and the one for TVDB after entering my own api key deleted the old .nfo and cleared cache re- srcaped the episode and in the .nfo I only have this:-

If I use Ember api I get a full .nfo except the Episode URL which is only available when you put your own api in.
How can I get the Episode Guide in my .nfo.
Do I have to delete them every time or are they re- written
Do I have to clear data cache

The <episodedetails> URL is located in the tvshow.nfo, not in the episode file. If you have one there, it will end in .zip which indicates it is v1

Ember supports v1 TVDB API. Kodi does not support this and uses v2 API since 2017.

Post your tvshow.nfo file and I can have a look. Put it in a code box using the </> button in the editors bar and type XML into the box.

Just as you did. Only: you need the API key of the old TVDb API, the new key will not work until we switch to the new API. I'm not shure if it's still possible to create an old one and it's forbidden to share the keys, but maybe you can find it in the source code: Link ;-)
Also the new API keys make the TVDb scraper unusable if you set it in the settings.

So if you have the show "24" would you have 24 episode guide url in each season and would they go in this section

So as Kodi does not support V1 is there any point to them ? Does Kodi get any info from a V1 .nfo

Dan - That is what was happening scraper not working
Thanks for the link. Concerned at what Karellen put in that kodi does not use V1 .nfo Does that mean it will not take any info from it.
Also If I set scraper to TMDB in Ember would that give a V.2 output. How would I change all my exsisting .nfo files
