thank you so much! this build did fix the problem.

how does this work now? will this fix be incorporated into an official build at any point?  

as soon as iOS 13 is released, I'll test 18.4 and merge PR into master if the bug is still there. If there will be 18.5, the fix will go there for sure, otherwise you'll have to stick to master builds (19 alpha).

I am running into the same problem as well.  As soon as I try to enter a source url and press done, kodi does not accept the typing and locks up on iPad Pro.  I am running 13.1.2 and kodi 18.4.  Everything worked fine on IOS 12 up until installation of IOS 13

please stop reporting your issue here, as you're using some custom Kodi distribution: complain to its maintainers. In nightly builds of official Kodi iOS 13 issue has long been resolved.

Sorry,just trying to get info on this problem . I have notified the developers of the Kodi Version I installed on my Phone Hopefully they will update it...

Master branch contains v19 alpha version (less stable), Leia (v18) is more stable.

Let you know that AppValley has a Updated Version of Kodi for IOS, Their Version 19. It works and fix's this issue...

Thanks a million Kambala. I deleted the 18.4 from ipad. Also revoked the certificate in Cydia Impactor and deleted the old app id too. Created an ipa file of  nightly of 05 Oct 2019. Installed it through Cydia Impactor again and now the problem seems solved. All sources are being added now.

Which appvalley are you using? Apparently the official one is app-valley dot vip (the one withoutnhe hyphen apparently is fake). On the official version I can only find kodi krypton, not even leia let alone v19.

I pulled out my trusty old iPad and installed the same build on iOS 12.4. everything is working as intended. it seems to be an issue with how iOS13.1 is behaving.

Rotate screen one time thats all!!!
