Hi Kambala,

Would really appreciate if you could repost a link to download this Deb file so that I may deploy to an iPad 13.1 Beta2 - Been testing the Beta and now suffering Kodi Withdrawal symptoms  Smile

Thanks.

@kambala - any idea when the fix you committed will make it into one of the nightly builds?

http://mirrors.kodi.tv/test-builds/darwi...-ios64.deb this build won't expire

like I said above, the fix won't be merged until it's verified that the bug is present in 18.4 on iOS 13 release

FYI - the iOS 13 GM was released today for developers so someone should be able to confirm that it does indeed exist in the GM since it’s also still present in the 13.1 beta 3 release which I’ve confirmed myself.

merged the PR into master for v19 nightly builds.

also opened PR for Leia https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/16670, test build: https://jenkins.kodi.tv/job/IOS-ARM64/94...-ios64.deb (will disappear after some time). Will merge it into nightly Leia builds as well.

EDIT: merged into Leia.

I just found this on Apple Website I don't know if this has to do with the problem though...

About an issue that impacts third-party keyboard apps in iOS 13 and iPadOS
An upcoming software update will fix an issue that impacts third-party keyboard apps. This issue applies only if you've installed third-party keyboards on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Third-party keyboard extensions in iOS can be designed to run entirely standalone, without access to external services, or they can request “full access” to provide additional features through network access. Apple has discovered a bug in iOS 13 and iPadOS that can result in keyboard extensions being granted full access even if you haven't approved this access.
This issue does not impact Apple’s built-in keyboards. It also doesn't impact third-party keyboards that don't make use of full access. The issue will be fixed soon in an upcoming software update.
See your third-party keyboard apps
You can see the installed third-party keyboard apps that could be impacted by this issue:
Open the Settings app.
Go to General > Keyboard > Keyboards.

Yes, the fix is available in nightly builds.

The issue is also reproducible with native keyboard, so that info has no relation.

Well I installed Kodi from the AppValley installer hopefully they'll be able to get the newer version out to correct this. I Just wished I never updated my IOS on the phone to 13.1.... Thanks...

I'm trying to add a source for TFC https://tinyurl.com/cmikRepoZip and I'm unable to see the data typed. after hitting continue, the system freezes.
here are my logs.

https://paste.kodi.tv/ofivojogog

iPhone XS Max
iOS 13.1
Kodi Build 18.4 Git:20190831-3ade758ceb
Compiled 2019-09-01

thanks

EDIT*****
I pulled out my trusty old iPad and installed the same build on iOS 12.4. everything is working as intended. it seems to be an issue with how iOS13.1 is behaving.
Go to https://tinyurl.com/cmikRepoZip on computer browser and download the zip file. You can use iexplorer and go to applications, vlc, copy zip file to Documents
Go to kodi on iphone and install from zip file, go to Home Folder and Documents and choose the file

I finally got it working. I was hoping with the new IOS update to 13.1.1 would fix it ,it did not . So back to square 1 again but looking at the last post I noticed that you can add the zip file by Iexplorer well that did not work but I have a program that is called Imazing and through that program I was able to transfer the Source or Repo zip file to Kodi on my phone and it worked. I just hope this is not the only way for someone who don't want to jailbreak their iPhone to enjoy Kodi on it...
