Update V0.6.3 - Image display improvement

• The function ShowPhotoObject got a background process for loading pics from flickr. Only the thumbnails are loaded directly, so a photo list is opened much more quickly than before.
  
•  Additionally the photo list in ShowPhotoObject was changed - you can start a slideshow from every list element or browse the list via keyboard or  Touchscreen

Update V0.6.6 Adaption to Kodi Matrix (compatibility Python2/Python3)

Please install the addon new from Github (update with older addon will fail): https://github.com/rols1/Kodi-Addon-Flic...ses/latest
Addationally install the kodi modul script.module.kodi-six, available at https://github.com/romanvm/kodi.six. Without this module the addon won't work!

Tested: Linux (Kodi 18.3-1.6), Windows7 (Kodi 18.1), Raspi 3b+ (LibreELEC 9.0.1), Android 7.0 (Kodi 18.4 Leia), Windows10 (Kodi Matrix).

Please report if something does not work as expected.

I am probably stupid, but how do you change the resolution of the displayed images ?

The config setting does not seem to do anything, images are on my Android box shown at a low (600 ?) resolution regardless.

Hmm.. It seem to be only photos from albums that are being shown at a low res.

github issue fixed: photos from albums always were loaded as thumbnails (Settings were ignored).

Update V0.7.2 Fix page control for albums

• github issue fixed:  photos from albums were not shown if they were split into pages.
  
• I've added a deletion function for the photos-cache. You can choose "delete" in cache-Settings and on next menu change the deletion-dialogue will appear.
  
• fix missing encoding of terms in translation function

Edit:
photos counting: I found that flickr's terms "total" and "pages" only are correct, if you choose original in Setting "max. width of pictures". With lower sizes flickr didn't subtract the dropped photos. In that case the addon shows the photos of the first side again if no new photo will be found.

I know that this is an old thread, but I'm a new user

It should be obvious, but... how do I configure it to display pictures from my Flickr account (and of groups I'm a member of)? There is a place to type one's user account, but when doing that, the add-on only says: 'user not found'. Group streams also don't work. I suppose this will only work for a random feed, then?

Sorry for the late reply. After the long downtime of the Kodi Forum I only have access again since today.
You must use the display name, not the real name. If a display name does not already exist, you have to enter it in the profile settings of the flickr website.
Yes, for all other users only the public content can be viewed.
