TheMOvieDB has two sections to their site - MOvies and TV Shows.
It is not immediately noticeable which is which unless you are familiar with the title or you look at the address bar and notice whether it links to \movies\ or \tv\
So what you think is a movie, could be a tv show or vice versa. Scroll the page a bit, and if you see a Seasons list, then it is TV Shows.
Yes, I noticed that. They have a menu to the left with:
TV Shows
Movies
People
Etc..
When I do a search for the 1990 version 'stephen kings it', it comes up as both. Click on Movie on that side list and it's a movie, click on tv show and it's a tv show too

The Stephen King mini-series' titles used to just come up with Movie results with nothing under TV for them at all going back a couple of years or so, then they started switching them to TV Series as well as Movies. I just put them all in as TV Shows now, since they were miniseries before becoming 'films' when they were released to disc and marketed as such. Certainly interesting
