I have just set up my nvidia shield to work with voice commands through Alexa. Having to use harmony remote skill to switch shield and tv to Kodi, then autovoice and yatse to play movies tv shows etc. It works great on 1 nvidia shield but I am really struggling to work out how to control the other 4 nvidia shields in the house. I can do it myself by having my yatse app control my main kodi server and then cast it to whichever shield I am watching. But there's no easy way for me to set this up for the kids. I just noticed the new amazon fire tv cube, and was wondering how good it is compared to the nvidia shield ? I don't need anything fancy just something with good picture quality and sound that's easy to control.

If you have a Harmony Hub the Shield TV can be connected and controlled via bluetooth. 

I don't know about the cube (I assume its the same) but the 4K Fire TV stick has a nice remote with volume controls for rooms without Harmony's. They also work well with a Harmony Hub too.
