yes even if you add something to the favorites that is not playable and not a folder it will be added as "PlayMedia", so if you will click it in the favorites it will cause aloop.

ah favorites. yeah, that sounds plausible (and suboptimal). i don't have much time these days but i'll see if i can prod someone into looking into it.

what i dont understand is why in PlayMedia if it was unable to play why it tries over and over and over again? in kodi 17 it wasnt the case.
