InputStream Adaptive Install Fail on Leia 18.4 fore Windows
#1
I just downloaded and installed Kodi version 18.4 for Windows 10 64 bit and when I go to add-ons to download and install InputStream Adaptive it keeps telling me, Install Fail. What do I need to do to correct this problem?

Thanks,
Mark

Provide a Debug Log which captures you attempting to install the add-on.

Still new to Kodi and I read the information found in the Debug Log but am not exactly sure where to find it. I did see a text document named Kodi and another one named Kodi.old under Users/AppData/Roaming/Kodi. Is that it or where should I go to find it?

Thanks,
Mark

Yes that sounds like it. But the location is detailed on the wiki page, so not sure why you cannot find it.

So I just copy that file and paste here on this thread or to some other link?

Thanks,

Sect 3.3

If you are using a desktop operating system, such as Windows, then you can simply navigate to the Debug Log using the File Manager of the operating system.

Once you find the log...
  1. Open it with any text editor and copy the contents of the file.
  2. Paste the contents to a paste site like http://paste.kodi.tv/ or https://paste.ubuntu.com.
  3. Press the Save icon or Paste! depending on which site you are using.
  4. When the screen refreshes with your paste, copy the entire address in the address bar and paste it into a new message in your post.

I have got to this point by watching a video on how to watch Netflix movies using Kodi. The video showed downloading and installing InputStream Adaptive. Is this correct before I go through trying to post the debug log?
