Hi all,

Noob here... I've just bought a Pi 4 2GB and I just install Kodi 18.4 (leia_pi4_18.4-Leia) with Libreelec 9.1.501 and have a problem in two scenarios.

First, if I start Pi4 with HDMI connected I can see the LibreElec logo and after sometime the TV/monitor starts to show no signal and after that something seems to be showing up and then they cycle of no signal, something trying to show up repeat forever.
The same behavior happen when doing a restart of Pi4.

If I start Pi with no HDMI cable connected... wait for 30 to 60 seconds and connect the HDMI cable I'm able to access Kodi and everything is normal. When restarting this does not happen, only the endless cycle above.

I've tried the forums below with no luck:

Are you using the HDMI socket closest to the power cable? I believe this is the one you should use.

The thread you link to is very old. I don't think it would apply to LibreElec on RPi4.

I have a 2GB RPi4 with the same build and not seeing any of these issues. Could it be a dodgy SD card?
