I'm at a loss - What can I uncheck to have TMM NOT create .nfl and all of the other files that it creates for every episode?

for NFO:
go to settings -> TV shows -> Scraper -> NFO settings and uncheck "<episode_filename>.nfo
for images:
go to settings -> TV shows -> Images -> Artwork filenames and uncheck everything you don't want to be written
