2 Hdmi monitors at different resolutions
#1
I have a Pi4, running Raspbian and Kodi with two hdmi monitors which have different resolutions. I can get both monitors to work on the desktop fine but cannot get Kodi to work with both monitors even if I set it to the lowest monitors resolution. When I do this it works for only one monitor.

My aim is to have Kodi play to just one monitor at a time, ie. Watch on TV1 with TV2 off or the other way round. I don't want simultaneous use.

I've read Kodi can only clone the screen at the same resolution, which I thought I was doing by setting the res to be the same on the desktop and Kodi, but does it cmactaully mean they have to have the same native res?

Is it possible perhaps to run two instances of Kodi, one for TV1 and one for TV2?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Jon
