Ive just brought the raspberry pi 4, running libreelec. Ive searched and searched for finding an solution for runing the philips as ambilight mode.

Ive found 2 addons but i cant get non of theese to work.

Is there anybody that knows if this is possible?

Ive came from a win10 pc with kodi and the philips hue sync app runing so smooth and i miss it.

Hi i have te Same issue    
I had To shutdown the kodi vpn app and connect kodi  via wifi (its in the Same  range of my hue lichts) then the plugin  tels me to pus te hue connect button
and saves its ip .
and it connects.
so far it works , but the lights connect and flash 1 time and when the movie starts the color changes 1 time and seems to stuk whit that color it dus not changes 
when the film stops they changes to theater mode .
so my problem is that the lights dont change when the movie play's
