Looking for a device this fits these:

The usual HD audio passthrough
Can play all formats
USB 3.0 ports that actually work
Can handle 9+ drives (My current C2 can)

I tried the N2 but each time I try to delete a file off of an external hard drive connected to USB 3, the entire unit just freezes up, so for me the N2 is basically a waste of money.

You forgot to mention that this device should be able to handle 9 external USB drives, same number as you have connected to N2...

@SilverBlade make sure you are using the latest Amlogic-ng nightly .tar release, it had some HardKernel N2 - USB3 stability fixes in it:
