I know it is possible to open live tv pvr:// urls in python but I am having trouble trying to do the same thing with pvr://recordings.  Simply calling open on the recording causes a crash.  I checked and these urls are partially available via the json interface and using m3u playlists.  I might be able to do it as a playlist but it seems like EDL support depends on a PvrRecordingInfoTag.  Can this be added via python?
