As I understand, Kodi uses internally ffmpeg library in its VideoPlayer. FFMPEG supports encrypted MPEG (MP4 CENC) files playback. e.g: ffplay encrypted_video.mp4 -decryption_key THE_KEY
Is there a way to make Kodi to playback MP4 CENC encrypted local files?
Perhaps it would be possible to provide extra arguments (key) to the internal player via rules and descriptions in playercorefactory.xml?
