Broken Issues with latest Kodi "MediaPortal PVR Client" plug-in
#1
We have just installed the full MediaPortal 2 suite (server and client, on the same Windows 10 machine), and can watch/record TV and view the EPG in the MediaPortal 2 client fine. But would like to get Kodi working as the client instead, as the Kodi GUI appears to be much more intuitive.

However, we do not appear to be able to get the latest Kodi "MediaPortal PVR Client" plug-in to work. We have successfully installed it (see screenshot), but when we attempt to access any of the TV functionality we just receive the following message:

TV / Channels / : "PVR manager is starting up: 0%"

Kodi then just hangs, and crashes when we try to close it.

Does anyone please have any suggestions on how to fix this? Our only thoughts are:
- Could it be a problem having both the MediaPortal 2 and Kodi clients installed at the same time?
- Perhaps the "MediaPortal PVR Client" plug-in only works with MediaPortal 1, rather than Media Portal 2?
- Have we missed some configuration somwehere?

P.S. Have searched for way to attach screenshots, but appears images need to be hosted externally and referenced by URLs... :-(

Same here. Following.

Is there a log file we should be looking at?

Have you installed the Kodi plugin for the MediaPortal TV server?

This is not the same as the Kodi MediaPortal client plugin.
