If you are using video add-ons that require some sort of codec prior to downloading, I would avoid those at all costs.
Kodi can play pretty much 99.5% of all current videos.

Also, the description you are giving of streams and groups suggests you are using add-ons that appear to be less than 100% legal. We have a no tolerance for video piracy add-ons on this forum.
