I'm not sure how much it pertains to the post above but I get what looks like full HD, and surround on Win 10 Pro.  I just rented a movie, and watched it and it was about bluray quality.

Surround? Yes. HD quality? Nah. Of course there are some exceptions, I'm mostly talking about the encryption used on PrimeVideo.com for the majority of users. There are/might be titles or conditions under which HD or FHD is possible, I just don't know of any.

Where is this option available? From the context menu? In the add-on settings? Last night my watchlist was suddenly empty and I looked for this option to try and refresh, but could not find it. I ended up doing a search for the show I wanted to watch and had to play the episodes from the search results.

Contextual menu. Right click or contextual menu keypress on the item you want to refresh. Works with remote too if there's a button configured for that.

We've made a few changes
Categories for familiar areas of interest. Your Video Library and Watchlist are now found in My Stuff.

Not sure, but perhaps this explains the now empty watchlist?

It's possible, I don't know of anything breaking yet.

When I get some time I think I want to look into it more and see if I can nail down a pattern. I watched angry birds last night and it was at least 720p if not 1080.

While playing a video if you go to settings => video settings it will show what resolution it's currently using. Previously TV series were playable in 1080p, after the changes early this year nothing will play if it's 720p and up. So, for example, while before I could watch an anime in FHD, it now plays at 960x540 which is quite smaller than 720p. It still looks decent, I still use it on a FHD TV without any problems, but if you know and actually care for that sort of things, it can turn you insane.

I've got another 4k TV with Tizen and Amazon app in it, trust me, the difference is astounding. But I make do with what I have, don't care too much if it's a bit lower res. Generally speaking, unless you're sitting on a desk, watching from the couch makes almost no difference.

Those changes were made to plugin.video.amazon version 0.7.6, but I'm using version 0.7.8 of plugin.video.amazon-test.

I'm getting lost with the names and the amount of thread pages.  Is Amazon the German version and Amazon test for everywhere else. Is the first post in the thread being updated because I've tried to read all the pages but it gets pretty confusing with all the changes.  Appreciate what you guys do but it would be really helpful if the first post had the latest info.  Maybe it does and I haven't been able to follow it.  Thanks

I've installed the add-on on Windows Kodi 18.5 but couldn't login. It never asks for username/password.
When I switch on debug logging, I can see this.

This thread here is only for Amazon VOD ​​​​​​Addon.
Which uses currently the ID plugin.video.amazon-test and if it comes to Kodi repo it gets renamed to plugin.video.amazonvod​​​​​.
Current version is 0.7.9.
