LibreELEC: Automatically execute bash script after user login
#1
I've got this working bash script which I want to execute immediately everytime after a user is logging in via the GUI on TV.
Does anyone know how I can set a trigger like this?
Thank you in advance.

Maybe you have not used LibreELEC before, but it does not have a login screen, at all. Also, LibreELEC has only one user: root.

If you want to start scripts you can perhaps use the autostart.sh file in the .config folder.

Sure it does. Maybe I was not clear enough. I have created three different profiles (user accounts), one for me, one for the kids and one for my wife. When Kodi starts I can choose with which user I want to login. Every user has its own password.

autostart.sh is not what I am looking for as it runs the scripts before login if I got this right.

EDIT: I found the solution and posted it here.
