The last Kodi version that runs on my Mac Mini 2018 (Mac OS 10.14.6) is 17.6.
Neither Kodi 18.4 nor Kodi 18.5 can be used, because the full mouse functionality is not available.
Under Kodi I can only just reach the "upper left quarter" of the screen, in all other areas the mouse pointer disappears and even a click has no effect.

thank you first of all for the quick response.
It's crazy: 
I switched to Windows mode and the mouse worked as it should.
Then I switched back to full screen and it still worked.
Even after I finished Kodi and restarted it still worked correctly.

I am not crazy about the reported error; see the attached video!

ONE thing I have changed in the meantime (after my forum entry):
Since I always got an error message on startup with Kodi (17.6) ("The following add-ons are incompatible with this version of Kodi and have been automatically disabled: Simple Cache Module") I downloaded the file "script.skin.helper.service-1.0.145.zip" from Github and installed it manually.

Still a mysterious matter ...

could you backup your config and try on a clean version? also test v18 and master nightly builds.

I'm sorry, I don't think I made myself clear:
The mouse problems only occurred in versions 18.4 and 18.5.
That's why I was still running version 17.6, because this mouse problem did not occur there.
