Add new video Filters

Hi all.

I'm just new to Retro Player. Just tried a couple of games with IAGL on my NVidia SHIELD.

Everything seem to work fine so far. I found out that by pressing select (the back button on the shield controller) and X together pulls out a sort of main menu where you can also select a "video filter" that seems to work similar to the scanlines or overlays in other emulators.

I see only 2 available choices on the SHIELD: one is basically no added effect, the other a kind of blur. I was wondering if other filters can be added to the list, via a repository or other means.

Hi Tarrasque,

You're in luck, we had two students work on "shaders" (gpu programs that implement video filters) for google summer of code. I'm still working with them to merge their work. Windows shaders are relatively complete, which you can try using my test builds here: https://github.com/garbear/xbmc/releases

Shaders for all other platforms besides Windows are further out, but it's being worked on too!
