I have added the Google drive Addon to my various Android based devices and want to use it to share content around the house.

so for example I download some content and rather than have to use usb sticks to view the content I put in on Google drive and then via the addon and kodi I can view this on the various sources.

When i set this up a couple of weeks ago it worked perfectly and I could see the content on all my android devices.

However in the last week its stopped working. I can physically see the content via Google Drive but when I click on the content it says "Loading" but then nothing plays.

Ive tried to clear cache, enable/disable the addon on, remove the google drive account that the content is stored on but none of this works.

Any suggestions??

I ran into the same problem & it is bugging me as to why it may have happened. If you figure out how to fix this, please post details.

I also have the same issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled the addon but still it is not working. i am able to see the files but nothing plays

Refer to the above thread. the Kodi Addon repo is not updated yet with the latest version. Install it manually using this link and it should work fine.

Thanks mystique0712, I updated the addon to the latest release (1.3.5) but it's still not working.
I can see the content stored in Google Drive, I can download metadata but I can't play it. When I click on a movie, Kodi simply start loading but suddenly stops and nothing happen.

i find kodi forums probably the worst for finding solutions but the issue you speak of is an issue across all devices ive used kodi/gdrive.  Wait for kodi to stop scanning, maybe give it 10 minutes and then try. sometimes it starts to work. other times it does the same thing

i think kodi needs more devs
