Low frames + audio desync in X movie
#1
Hello, I'm using Kodi 18.5 + Gdrive addon. I had these problems already with another movies but I didn't know about the forums, so here I am, trying to get help.

- The movie is a BDRemux, here is the MediaInfo if it helps (Sorry but I'm from Spain): https://pastebin.com/NrRSQweA
- The movie is working fine in VLC or even uploaded to google drive, so it's not corrupt.

And here is the log https://paste.kodi.tv/bolovaxiju

I've tested it on a Sony with AndroidTV, and yeah I watch the movie in "3 fps" and with audio desync maybe with 5-6 delay seconds. Thanks so much.

It's SW decoded. Seems your device does not hwaccelerate VC-1 - I'd just transcode it to h264
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Whats that mean, there is not fix for my device?

Probably not, Sony android TV devices dont have the best reputation with their firmware and issues/bugs

Try transcoding the video into H264 as suggested by fritch and try again

Check out https://handbrake.fr/ which can help you transcode the video

I've tested the same movie on my MiBox S and there are problems too, the frames are weird like x1.5 (more faster) and audio desync too.

Anyways, if the devteam says there is not a reason to take a look, I'll try that software, but yeah I'm testing rn and with a i9 it's taking 30-40 mins for this movie, whatever.
